When working with decimals using these blocks, we just shift the
point of reference and use the red 100-square as our one unit, the blue 10-bar
as 1/10 or one-tenth, and the green unit as 1/100 or one-hundredth. Then
we can add, subtract, multiply and divide exactly the same way as with whole
units.
